Western Farm Machinery are seeking a full or part time Auto-Electrician / Precision Ag Technician to join our friendly and hard-working team.

This role will involve diagnosing and repairing electrical faults alongside installing and supporting customers with their precision farming technologies and GPS solutions across a wide range of Agricultural machines.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on a range of agricultural machinery such as tractors, sprayers and harvesters.
• Support the workshop and customers with the installation and functioning of the precision farming and GPS technologies.
• Work well independently or as part of a team.
• Provide excellent customer service and have pride in the work that you carry out.
• Follow all safety standards and procedures.
• Bring a positive and can-do attitude to all tasks and be willing to go above and beyond to diagnose complicated faults.

Required skills

• Proven experience and qualification as an auto-electrician / Precision Ag technician.
• Air Conditioning Certification and License beneficial but not essential.
• An understanding and proven history of working on Precision Farming solutions would be preferred, however training will be provided.
• Have a positive attitude and an interest in learning and developing as a mechanic.
• Must be computer literate.
• Forklift license beneficial but not an essential.
• Must have a full Australian drivers license.
• Full working rights in Australia (permanent work rights with no restriction).
