Western Farm Machinery are seeking a permanent full-time Diesel / Ag Mechanic to join our friendly and hard-working Warren team.

Our dealership services and repairs a wide range of agricultural machinery and brands (including Deutz, Fendt, Massey Ferguson and Versatile) so there is plenty of opportunity to work on the machines you enjoy and expand your knowledge into other areas.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, repair and overhaul a wide range of agricultural machinery such as tractors, sprayers and harvesters.
• Work well independently or as part of a team.
• Provide excellent customer service and have pride in the work that you carry out.
• Follow all safety standards and procedures.
• Bring a positive and can-do attitude to all tasks and be willing to go above and beyond to diagnose complicated faults.

Required skills

• Proven experience and qualification as a Diesel / Ag Mechanic (Mobile Plant Mechanics also considered).
• Previous experience working with diagnostic tools.
• An understanding and proven history of working on Precision Farming solutions.
• Have a positive attitude and an interest in learning and developing as a mechanic.
• Must be computer literate.
• Forklift license beneficial but not an essential.
• Must have a full Australian drivers license.
• Full working rights in Australia (permanent work rights with no restriction).
